You can use this actual scenario to determine your cost savings, because all of our customers apply a different value to every process.
A particular part was being turned on fifteen automatic lathes.
Fifteen (15) automatic lathes produced 150 pieces per minute and would produce 15,000 parts in 1 hr. and 40 min. For all metal removal processes the cost for all the metal removed is lost.
One (1) Rolling Machine produced 150 pieces per minute and would produce 15,000 parts in 1 hr. and 40 min. For all the rolling processes there is no metal removal and that cost for forming the items is saved.
- Cost savings projected savings in the first year
In order to justify the cost of new machinery and processes it is usually spread over two to three years. If you have the need for high-speed production, our process will allow you to take the cost for changing processes and still have a reasonable saving at the end of the first year. However, if you already have thread rollers in your production the cost will be minimal.
No metal removal, stronger parts, concentric (formed on their
own centers), consistent quality, automatic operation, up to 600 PPM, and formed in one
pass on any symmetrical part. |
